FEEDBACK AND OPPORTUNITIES TO EMPLOYEES
???Giving employees honest and timely feedback is very essential and important to develop healthy relationship with employees and to build successful organization???. (Truth or Consequences: How to Give Employee Feedback). Feedback is a sensitive issue that needs to be proposed carefully based on each employee??™s character and personality. Each employee will be evaluated on two different occasions. First assessment will be done after the training period and second on a yearly basis. Feedback will be provided to employees based on one on one basis with the management team that will discuss every aspect of evaluation and what areas need improvement and what areas employee excels in. During evaluation each employee will be given an opportunity to express what their goals are for the future and after that management will decide on individual basis who deserves promotion and who really wants it and is willing to work hard for it.
Management will try to do their best to help each and every employee reach their goals at InterClean. Every employee will have a clear picture of what is expected from them and management will have a firm set of guidelines and rules that everyone needs to follow. It will be management responsibility to push their employees, define, and prioritize responsibilities as they are very important to company??™s success. Employees have to know what is expected from them and then they will be more eager to achieve those goals and work towards them. ???It is important that each individual understands the difference between the primary goal of their position and the various tasks that lead to the accomplishment of that goal. Managers would continually ask people to examine their primary responsibilities in the context of corporate goals and objectives. A managers primary goal is to provide his people with clear and well-focused direction???. (Helping Employees Reach Their Potential)
Every employee will go thru training right after merger and then additional training will be available periodically as new products are introduced or as management feels is needed. Having productive and educated employees is the biggest asset that company can have, therefore company will look into different affordable sales seminars that employees can attend to increase their skills. Employer will also help with some higher education expenses if employee agrees to stay with the company for a certain period of time after completing the degree.
???Research shows that the use of resources such as on-site childcare relates to greater job satisfaction and perceived work-family balance, as well as employee time saved, increased motivation and productivity, better employee retention, decreased healthcare costs and stress-related illnesses, and lower absenteeism??? (Quality of Work- Life Issues). InterClean will allow employees to work flexible hours as long as norm sales are reached. InterClean will work on providing affordable day care on the site that employees will young children can utilize if they need to. By offering this incentive employees will be less absent and sales not suffer.
InterClean is a very diverse company with many different age, gender, race, and ethnic groups. InterClean also realizes that employees are their biggest assets and that they are willing to go the extra mile to treat each and every employee with respect in regard to their beliefs and culture and therefore will try and accommodate everyone during their holidays in regards to giving them time off on those days.
In order to InterClean to be successful it needs to have a good team employees that poses specific skills. InterClean realizes this and knows that even if they are not profitable for the first year or so and invest that money into their employees it will be well worth it at the end. Having one good trained employee can benefit company for many years to come therefore InterClean will invest that money to get their employees proper training that they need to get the job done. After first year InterClean will look into their sales and decide on a percentage that they can put aside for additional training and education that employees need.
